Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated CloudOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate possesses a strong foundation in cloud technologies with a focus on AWS. The CloudOps Engineer will play a crucial role in operational automation release management and various DevOps tasks. The candidate should be AWS Certified (at least AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner) have experience with key tools like Jenkins Terraform and Python and possess a solid understanding of networking concepts such as VPC and WAF.
Core Responsibilities:
Operational Automation: Develop and implement automated solutions for operational tasks to enhance efficiency.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to streamline and automate deployment processes.
Release Management: Plan coordinate and execute production releases in collaboration with development teams. Ensure the stability and reliability of systems during and after releases.
DevOps Tasks: Perform regular DevOps tasks including monitoring alerting and optimizing cloud resources. Contribute to the development and improvement of monitoring and alerting systems.
FinOps: Implement FinOps practices to optimize cloud costs and resource utilization.
Analyze and provide recommendations for costeffective cloud solutions.
SRE Tasks: Participate in disaster recovery planning and exercises. Contribute to building and enhancing systems for reliability and fault tolerance. Essential Skills/ Qualification/ Experience
Requirements:
AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or higher.
Strong automation skills with experience in Jenkins Terraform and Python.
Basic knowledge of cloud resources across various platforms.
Understanding of networking concepts such as VPC and WAF.
Good to Have: Associate Level AWS/Azure Certification.
Experience working with Datadog for monitoring and analytics.
Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g. Docker Kubernetes).
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
Proven experience in CloudOps SRE or a related role.
Excellent problemsolving and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fastpaced environment.
Full Time
