Associate Oracle Application Developer On W2 Only

Location Cary NC (Onsite role Local Candidate Only)

Length: 6 Month Contract

• Candidates must have recent investment banking or financial exp.
• Mode of interview: First round technical phone screen followed with face to face or a video.

A minimum of 810 years of Oracle database development experience including at least 23 years of APEX web development experience is required.

Tasks / Responsibilities:

Data Analysis from user requirements

Database Logical & Physical Schema Design from bare requirements

Functional/nonfunctional Requirements gathering

Application Component Design ( UI Process etc )

Design & Build Solution from scratch to meet agreed requirements

Develop and enhance existing APEX Applications

Document all solution designs to high standard

Experience Exposure (Mandatory):

710 years of Oracle database development experience

Proficient in building high quality applications using Oracle APEX v4.2 or later

Proficient in advanced Apex tasks such as designing new themes using and enhancing third party plugins implementing dropdown menus and complex dynamic actions

Experienced in web technologies such as HTML CSS JavaScript JQuery and Ajax

Proficient in SQL and PL/SQL especially Oracle Database 11gR1 & R2 features and able to utilise these to build efficient applications

Proven track record in taking a concept and delivering a quality solution

Able to work alone or as part of a team

Experience Exposure (Recommended):

Knowledge and understanding of Oracle development tools such as Oracle SQL Developer

Knowledge and understanding of development lifecycle tools such as JIRA/FishEye/Crucible

Experienced in design and delivery of data models and entity relationship diagrams

Knowledge and understanding of complex IT Infrastructure in either an operations or support capacity

Knowledge and understanding of Disaster Recovery concepts and principles or configuration management terminology

Oracle Certified APEX Developer (optional)
