POSITION TITLE: Field Sales Agent
Job Description
We are looking for a highly motivated and resultsdriven Field Sales Agent to join our team at GoSolr. The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving sales targets through standard selling procedures as well as various sales activation programmes. This could include but not limited to: community expos residential estate activations school / sport club / community centres / shopping centre activations and other events. Critical to the Field Sales Agent persona is that they are a community custodian / ambassador where thay are well respected and active within the community and that they have a large network / client base that they can engage with.
Agents are required in the Stellenbosch Paarl Durbanville George/Knysna Port Elizabeth and JHB East Rand Areas
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieving monthly sales targets through standard selling procedures as well as community expos estate agent activations / business activations and other events
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers
- Conducting product presentations and demonstrations to potential customers
- Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities
- Managing promotional activities
- Collecting and analysing data to provide valuable insights on regions
- Aware of regional activity and touch points via social media platforms
- Handling and overcoming objections from potential customers
Experience Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in field sales or a related field
- proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong negotiation closing and objection handling skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in the solar industry is an advantage but not mandatory
- Valid drivers licence and reliable transportation
- Exposure to CRM tools
- Exceptional pipeline management
- Active on community social platforms
- Sales skills: The ability to sell effectively handle objections and close deals with customers
- Customers Service skills: The ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers colleagues and stakeholders
- Organisational skills: The ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively and ensure that all data integrity is 100%
- Problemsolving skills: The ability to identify and resolve problems quickly and efficiently.
- Analytical skills: The ability to collect and analyse data to provide valuable insights
- Presentation skills: Must be able to present to large forums and businesses
