About Urbaser

A leader in environmental services Urbaser Ltd provides municipal waste treatment and recovery services to residents throughout the UK. Our operations are focused on conserving resources carbon reduction and delivering a circular economy.

Our parent company Urbaser S.A.U is based in Spain and has extensive experience in the provision of environmental services both nationally and internationally. At present we are the third largest environmental services provider in Europe providing high profile waste treatment waste and recycling collection street cleansing and grounds maintenance services in cities including Barcelona Madrid Paris Porto and London. In addition we also operate comparable operations across Asia North Africa and South America.

Main Duties

As a Business Administrator Apprentice you will provide support to a highprofile environmental services contract for Urbaser Ltd on behalf of The Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead. You will assist with all administration tasks providing support to the Contract Manager and the wider contract management team in the daytoday provision of the local environmental services. You will also provide administrative support to the wider organisation as required within reason.

  • Providing general administrative support to the contract management team and other departments to ensure efficient operations.
  • Use of multiple IT systems to assist with the provision of environmental services.
  • Engage support and interact with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Compile reports relating to service delivery.
  • Maintain and update records on various systems including internal and external audits.
  • Undertake administrative tasks using Microsoft Office applications.
  • Assist with the Community Benefit Plan and associated social value tracking.
  • Assist in purchasing budgeting expense tracking and financial reporting activities.
  • Monitor stationary supplies refreshments and IT consumables.
  • Liaising with couriers and suppliers.
  • Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed
What Apprenticeship Training will you Receive

The successful applicant will complete and obtain a L3 Business Administration Qualification through Learning Curve Group.

You will be taught through:

  • 46 Weekly 121 Sessions with your tutor
  • 6 weekly hours of Off The Job Training
  • The course is a 14 month long programme
