Data Science Summer Trainee

Evac Business Finance team is looking for a Data Science/Data Analyst Summer Trainee. This role is a fulltime summer holiday substitution between midMay and midAugust (3 months).

Your main task will be helping to create analytics with big data and basic AI solutions to support the Evac Business Line in driving growth and Evac Business Finance in insightful analysis.

Your role during summerwill be to support in creating new analytics to Evac Business Line supporting Sales and Profitability forecast and analysis. You will do this by applying knowledge from your studies and help from the Business Controllers in the Business Finance team. The aim is to create new set of analytics and reporting by utilizing machine learning and data visualization tools like Azure and PowerBi.

You will report Anna Arai Head of Business Finance Evac business Line.

Keys to success

• Experience with BI tools (e.g. Power BI Qlik)
• Final stage studies in for Data Management Data Science Business Analytics or similar
• Analytical and problemsolving skills excellent Excel skills
• Some experience with big data processing machine learning and data visualization e.g. through studies
• Excellent skills in relevant tools in e.g. Excel SQL Analytical tools and models
• Ability to turn complex data into meaningful insight and actions
• We also value earlier work experience in an international corporation with similar tasks but it is not mandatory
• Excellent communication skills in English
