Key Responsibilities Include

• Design and implement scalable and efficient data pipelines ensuring the flow of data from various sources to storage and analytical systems.
• Develop and maintain data models schemas and database structures.
• Integrate data from multiple sources both internal and external to create a unified and comprehensive view of the organizations data.
• Implement ETL (Extract Transform Load) processes to clean transform and aggregate data for analysis.
• Manage and optimize databases for performance scalability and reliability.
• Implement data security measures and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations.
• Write code and scripts in languages such as Python Java or SQL to automate data processes and workflows.
• Collaborate with software engineers to integrate data engineering processes into larger software systems.
• Implement data quality checks and validation processes to ensure the accuracy and reliability of data.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data issues collaborating with crossfunctional teams to resolve problems.
• Work closely with data scientists analysts and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless integration of data systems with other enterprise systems.
• Document data engineering processes workflows and system architectures.
• Keep documentation uptodate and accessible for team members.

Specific Requirements

• Bachelors or masters degree in computer science Information Technology or a related field.
• 23 years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in database design SQL and data modeling.
• Strong programming skills with expertise in languages such as Python Java or Scala.
• Familiarity with big data technologies and distributed computing.
• Experience with ETL tools and processes.
• Knowledge of data security and privacy best practices.
• Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication (written and oral) and collaboration skills in English German is an advantage

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with cloudbased data platforms (AWS Azure).
• Knowledge of machine learning concepts and frameworks.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI).
• Knowledge of version control systems like Git for managing codebase and collaborative development
• Experience with using RPA tools
