Chief Data Officer for a Large IT Consulting firm

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Data Officer to join our team. As the Chief Data Officer you will be responsible for designing and executing the data strategy and roadmap for our clients. Your role will involve engaging with senior business stakeholders to understand their business needs and oversee the management and flow of data throughout its lifecycle. You will also be responsible for managing data governance strategies implementing master data management practices and leading a team of talented data scientists to leverage data and positively impact the organization. Additionally you will be in charge of designing developing and maintaining data repositories ensuring business intelligence systems meet organizational requirements implementing data analytics effectively into business processes and prioritizing data quality initiatives to ensure accurate business outcomes. You will also be responsible for keeping up with everchanging data protection regulations avoiding data breaches by ensuring authorized access to information and implementing measures to protect stored and transmitted data. It will be your responsibility to establish practices and mechanisms that comply with data protection and privacy regulations ensure data trustworthiness and improve user access to data while maintaining data protection and privacy.

The ideal candidate for this position should possess a strong background in data management data governance and analytics. A bachelors degree in a related field is required and a masters degree is preferred. The candidate should have a minimum of 10 years of experience in data management roles with at least 5 years in a leadership position. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills are essential for this role as you will be interacting with senior business stakeholders on a regular basis. Additionally the candidate should have a solid understanding of data protection and privacy regulations and be able to keep up with industry trends and best practices.
