Job Description
We are seeking a talented and experienced SQL Server Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Power BI Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database development ETL processes and data visualization using Microsoft technologies. The role involves designing developing and maintaining SQL Server databases implementing ETL processes with Azure Data Factory and creating insightful reports and dashboards with Power BI.
Responsibilities:
- Database Development:
- Design implement and maintain SQL Server databases.
- Optimize database performance through efficient indexing query tuning and other best practices.
- Ensure data integrity and security within the databases.
- ETL Processes with Azure Data Factory:
- Develop and implement ETL processes using Azure Data Factory.
- Extract transform and load data from various sources into the target databases.
- Monitor and troubleshoot ETL processes to ensure timely and accurate data delivery.
- Power BI Development:
- Create visually appealing and insightful reports and dashboards using Power BI.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements for reporting and analytics.
- Implement best practices for data visualization and storytelling in Power BI.
- Data Integration:
- Integrate data from diverse sources into a unified view for reporting and analysis.
- Work with APIs and other data integration tools to connect different systems.
- Documentation:
- Document database designs ETL processes and Power BI reports for knowledge sharing and future reference.
- Keep documentation uptodate with any changes or enhancements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- Proven experience in SQL Server database development performance tuning and optimization.
- Handson experience with Azure Data Factory for ETL processes.
- Proficiency in developing interactive reports and dashboards using Power BI.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and best practices.
- Familiarity with data modeling and schema design principles.
- Excellent problemsolving and troubleshooting skills.
- Effective communication skills for collaboration with crossfunctional teams
