Sheetal Jewellery House LLP is a Mumbaibased jewelry company that provides a wide range of designs and assortments catering to different communities while always taking into account the sensibilities and preferences of all consumers. Our jewelry includes a broad range of categories including daily/work wear evening/cocktail jewelry and exquisite fine jewelry.
Role Description
As a Gemstone Buyer at Sheetal Jewellery House LLP you will be responsible for sourcing purchasing and evaluating a variety of precious and semiprecious gemstones such as diamonds rubies emeralds and sapphires. This fulltime onsite role requires that you work closely with the design and production teams to determine the best selection of gemstones to match the needs and expectations of our customers. This role is located in Mumbai.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in a related field or comparable work experience
- Excellent knowledge of gemstone identification and grading
- Demonstrated experience in purchasing sourcing or sales of gemstones
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced deadlinedriven environment
- Familiarity with applicable regulations and ethical sourcing principles is a plus
- Certificate in Gemology or membership in the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) is also a plus
