Job Description

Overview:

The Copy Writer Internship is a key role within our organizations marketing and communications department. The intern will play a crucial part in creating engaging and persuasive content including copy for digital and print materials across various platforms. This role offers the opportunity to gain handson experience in a fastpaced professional environment and contribute to the development of our brands public image.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in creating compelling and original content for marketing materials including brochures website content social media posts and email campaigns
  • Conduct thorough research to understand target audiences and industry trends to tailor content accordingly
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop creative concepts and messaging strategies
  • Proofread and edit content to ensure consistent brand voice and adherence to style guidelines
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate innovative ideas for content creation
  • Stay uptodate with industry best practices and recommend new content approaches
  • Assist in the management of social media content and community engagement
  • Contribute to the development of content calendars and work within established timelines
  • Assist in creating engaging copy for digital advertisements and promotional materials
  • Support the team in tracking and analyzing content performance metrics
  • Contribute to the development of content for internal communication
  • Work on enhancing SEO and SEM efforts through content development
  • Assist in adhoc writing and communication tasks as needed

Required Qualifications:

  • Pursuing or completed a Bachelors degree in English Journalism Marketing Communications or related field
  • Demonstrated passion for writing and storytelling
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong research and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with content management systems
  • Basic understanding of SEO and its impact on content development
  • Ability to adapt writing style to suit different audiences and platforms
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to highquality work
  • Portfolio showcasing writing samples and creative capabilities (if applicable)
  • Experience or coursework in copywriting content creation or digital marketing is a plus
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
  • Flexibility and openness to constructive feedback
  • Understanding of social media platforms and their role in content distribution
  • Basic understanding of design principles and their application in content creation
