About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Lead Backend Developer to join our team at Realoq. As a key member of our technology department you will be responsible for leading the design development and maintenance of scalable and efficient backend systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field
- 9 years of experience in Java development
- Strong proficiency in Java with a good understanding of the Java ecosystem
- Experience with Java frameworks such as Spring REST Spring Data Quarkus Hibernate and frontend technologies such as HTML CSS and JavaScript
- Handson knowledge of both Relational and NoSQL databases.
- Good knowledge of REST API principles and handson implementation experience.
- Understanding of fundamental design principles behind scalable applications
- Experience with code versioning tools such as Git Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Can write unit component and integration tests.Quality consciousness and ensuring Code is free from Sonar flags.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment demonstrating resilience under pressure.
- Excellent multitasking and organizational skills
- Strong communication skills.
Responsibilities:
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Leads the review and analysis of design functional technical and user documentation
- Leads the development review analysis and implementation of test strategies for software/storage products and systems
- Leads the development test and integration of code for new or existing software of significant complexity involving multiple teams
- Design develop and maintain highperformance scalable applications using Java. Write reusable and testable code.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to identify and prioritize features
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
- Stay uptodate with emerging trends and technologies in Java development
- Working closely with the frontend engineering team
- Developing functional documentation and guidelines for other team members
- Provide mentorship and guidance to other developers maintain production systems and deliver nobreaking changes.
- Deliver the committed functionalities on strict timelines
