Job Description
Overview:
The IT role in Dubai & Qatar is a critical position that oversees the technology infrastructure and operations within the organization. The role plays a key part in driving business efficiency innovation and growth through the effective use of technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain IT infrastructure in Dubai & Qatar.
- Implement and monitor security measures for the protection of the organizations data.
- Provide support for software hardware and networking issues.
- Design and develop IT systems and procedures.
- Oversee the implementation of new IT solutions and services.
- Conduct regular system audits and update systems as needed.
- Respond to and resolve help desk requests.
- Manage IT staff and provide guidance and training.
- Ensure compliance with IT regulations and best practices.
- Participate in budgeting and planning IT projects.
- Collaborate with other departments to identify and meet IT needs.
- Stay updated on the latest IT trends and advancements.
- Contribute to disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
- Ensure the smooth operation of all IT systems and applications.
- Support and optimize existing applications and infrastructure.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field.
- Proven experience as an IT manager or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of systems and networking software hardware and networking protocols.
- Experience with databases networks and cloud services.
- Excellent understanding of computer systems security network and systems administration databases and data storage systems.
- Proven project management skills.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage and lead a team.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.
- Ability to adapt to a fastpaced and changing environment.
- Certifications such as CISSP CompTIA Security PMP or similar are a plus.
- Experience with ITIL and Agile methodologies.
- Knowledge of emerging technologies and trends.
- Ability to work effectively in a diverse and multicultural environment.
