As an Oracle Exadata Database Administration you will be designing installing upgrading patching tuning monitoring and troubleshooting databases with large amounts of data (Terabytes) and high transaction rates.

What youll be doing:

• Exadata feature enablement monitoring review and update placement strategy.
• Monitor resource utilization and Oracle Compute Unit (OCPU) scaling.
• Create/manage Oracle SR and support team in issue resolution.
• Develop and maintain system documentation related to your Oracle Exadata and software configuration.
• Apply process and architectural improvements to continually improve the availability capacity and performance of database systems.
• Communicate appropriately and efficiently with management customers and vendors.
• Sustain a teamoriented fastpaced environment.

What youll need:

• Excellent understanding installing administering and working knowledge of Oracle 12c through 19c databases.
• Experience in configuring and managing Oracle RAC Clusterware Grid infrastructure Oracle ASM OEM Shareplex STRIIM/GoldenGate.
• Handson with Oracle Database migrations and upgrades using different methodologies (Data Pump RMAN Transportable Tablespaces ZDM).
• Experience with RMAN database backup and recovery using ZFS and Data Domain.
• Handson with CDB & PDB architecture design and implementation.
• Experience with Data Guard setup and management.
• Experience in defining security standards and supporting security audits.
• Experience with Perl Unix Shell Scripting and Python for custom monitoring and automation.
• Experience working with the development team during design sessions to provide performance and scaling recommendations.
• Experience with troubleshooting problems relating to the Oracle database that may originate or exist in the infrastructure that supports the data store including application server network storage and operating system component/layer.
• Working knowledge on Exadata X7 and newer platforms.
• Good exposure and handson work with Oracle ExaCC (Exadata ) architecture managing and creating resources using cloud dashboard.
• Strong experience in Oracle Core Database administration and monitoring.
• Exposure to Performance of Exadata (Flash Cache etc.).
• Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM).
• Experience with Patch/Upgrade and release management (database storage node server network Oracle Exadata)

The projected compensation range for this position is $96000.00 to $142000.00 (annualized USD).
