Healthcare Talent Support has partnered with a client seeking a Business Development Specialist in the San Antonio, TX market. San Antonio will be the third location opened in the last 18 months with another 2 locations opening in 2023.
Responsibilities:
- Prospect new sale leads though phone calls, emails, and face-to-face contacts.
- Plan quarterly events (i.e., continuing education, conferences, networking lunches/dinners, etc.) for potential referents.
- Schedule tours of the outpatient behavioral health facility in San Antonio and coordinate with on-site staff to ensure tours are planned and executed according to plan.
- Log and manage activities within CRM
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Local travel estimated at 80%
Qualifications include:
- A passion for health, wellness & mindful health
- Master of time management
- Highly detail oriented
- BS degree in Marketing or Business Administration or Life Sciences is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls)
- Experience with psychiatric inpatient hospitals, mental health outpatient clinics and other behavioral health treatment sites is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with MS Excel (analyzing spreadsheets and charts)
- Understanding of sales performance metrics
- Creativity & the ability to engage others
- Internally driven & motivated towards success
- Proven ability to be flexible with work environment
- A desire to learn & grow
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to interact cross functionally with all levels within internal team and external clients
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
