What we do
Revalue supercharges the worlds leading naturebased carbon projects developers. We provide them with the required technical support and competitive financing to go from the initial rapid assessment of potential project areas to the first carbon credits issuance and beyond. This is underpinned by our proprietary tech which creates a stepchange in accuracy speed automation and level of insights.

The Stakeholders Specialist will work with the Design team within the Portfolio Design team. This is a full time position.

What are the key responsibilities of the role
The role will include but not be limited to:
1. Provide leadership within the organisation in terms of environmental and social safeguards;
2. Ensure that Revalue projects meet exceptional standards of environmental and social integrity;
3. Work with Revalue staff and partners to build and maintain their capacity.
The Stakeholder Specialist will offer expertise in assessing safeguard risks and developing appropriate management frameworks conducting social impact assessments and leading participatory consultation processes. They will have experience working with government bodies local communities international organisations and other stakeholders in developing countries.
Leadership and strategy:
Provide leadership and vision for Revalue on safeguards and relevant aspects of major multilateral safeguard frameworks (e.g. REDD SES).
Work with the regional teams and project proponents to integrate relevant SDGs into project design.
Develop approaches to empowering marginalised and vulnerable communities in project design and implementation.
Develop Revalues approach to safeguard development for our projects and programs including how to apply quantifiable mertrices under the CCB.
Perform a range of planning advisory and research functions related to designing Revalues approach to ensuring safeguard processes are implemented with high integrity.
Leverage professional networks to build and maintain relationships with current and prospective NBS projects in the portfolio.
Maintain positive relationships with clients and development partners through proactive and professional communication.
Position Revalue to be at the cutting edge of advancements in the field.
Quality project implementation and oversight:
Work with project partners to develop community baselines and monitor approaches.
Provide direction and advisory support to regional staff and project partners to ensure accountability for project excellence.
Identify and elaborate Free Prior and Informed Consent (FPIC) consultation plans for a broad range of stakeholders including the most vulnerable and disenfranchised.
Conduct research studies to identify pressing social issues associated with deforestation and degradation.
Assess the social impacts of proposed NBS strategies propose mitigation approaches where potential negative impacts are identified and look to maximise positive and multiplicative impacts.
Lead quality assessment and control of projects against high integrity standards by developing quality assurance and control procedures and ensuring their implementation.
Maintain high level of rigor on analyses including close adherence to the latest best practices and recommendations from the international community.
