About the role
Commencement: ASAP
Contract type: Parttime (0.52 FTE) 20 hours per week permanent
Reports to: Management Accountant
Relevant award: Social Community Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award 2010
Salary: $71136 (pro rata to $36990 per annum) exclusive of superannuation

The Bookkeeper is a key role assisting with various financial responsibilities including daily and monthly financial management processing accounts payable and receivables and contributing to the preparation of comprehensive financial reports. Your collaboration with the Management Accountant will involve invoicing bank reconciliations account monitoring and ensuring the smooth control of creditors and debtors. Youll oversee investment records manage grants and maintain accurate registers of subscriptions donations and memberships in addition to their financial administration. The role will also support payroll administration where required.
The principal objective for this role is to ensure accurate records that are compliant with current accounting standards and adheres to relevant legislation organisational policies procedures and organisational requirements. Maintaining an uptodate knowledge of appropriate standards is essential.
