Role: Senior Snowflake & Python Developer

Location: New Jersey US Person should be available to work in person from NJ.

Contract role.

Responsibilities

• Snowflake DB Developer with expertise in python pandas Snowpark snowflakeconnect oracledb Ms SQL
• 12 years of relevant experience and skilled in Snowflake DB with hands on exposure to Cloud environment preferably AWS and expert in Python
• very good client handling experience with able to advise for multiple projects.
• Strong in python including libraries for pandas boto3 Snowpark is must.
• Experience in Snow SQL Snow Pipes Streams Views Procedures performance tuning CDC and Dynamic Tables.
• Exposure to Time travel data movement between Snowflake to other RDBMS and vice versa
• Experienced in SQL performance tuning and troubleshooting.
• Should have knowledge of Real time or Near real time setups using Kafka with Snow pipe.
• Knowledge on CI/CD using Jenkins/Bamboo
• Experience in Agile/Scrum based project executions.
• Good to have python experience with handson.
• Very good SQL expertise in Joins Analytical functions.
• Good to have Cloud knowledge on AWS services like S3 Lambda Athena or Blob
• Team player collaborative approach and excellent communication skills
• Candidate should be good in communication and articulation.

Qualifications we seek in you.

Minimum qualifications

• Graduate/B Tech/MCA
• Knowledge/exp. of Banking or Capital Markets is an added advantage for this position.

Preferred qualifications

• Snowflake DB Developer
• 9 years of relevant experience and skilled in Snowflake DB Python with good experience on Python. preferably hands on exposure to Cloud environment preferably AWS
• Experience in Snow SQL Snow Pipes Streams
• Exposure to Time travel data movement between Snowflake to other RDBMS and vice versa
• Exposure to orchestration using Airflow.
• Good to have experience in Python programming for ETL.
• Experienced in SQL performance tuning analytical functions joins and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge on CI/CD using Jenkins/Bamboo
• Experience in Agile/Scrum based project executions.
