Vantari Pty Ltd (Vantari) was founded in 2017 by clinicians. Vantari is Virtual Reality training for Healthcare. We eliminate medical error by helping doctors nurses and students practise and perfectlife saving procedures through virtual reality.

We are looking for a talented and wellexperienced Technical Director Multimedia Specialist with a minimum 10year experience in the same occupation and has Tech Art experience in realtime environments. The candidate will be working with a crossfunctional team of medics software engineers and artists. This will be a key hire as we scale for the next stage of growth. Our ideal candidate should be a team player and be able to work collaboratively in order to build and deliver products of the highest quality. They should be able to navigate and work successfully with other team members across the entire Software Development Lifecycle. Likewise an ideal candidate should also be able to work autonomously and independently. At Vantari we are looking for candidates with initiative the ability to quickly solve problems with a cando attitude.

The Technical Director Multimedia Specialist will report to theCreative Director and will be mainly responsible for the following tasks and duties. The successful applicant must have:

Must be HoudiniExpert. The candidate is expected to independently create procedural workflows to solve multiple needs in our pipeline. This includes designing and developing animations imaging presentations internet applications using multimedia software tools and utilities interactive graphics and programming languages. He must be experienced in asset generation simulations rendering among others.

Must have vast experienced Tech Artist. It is highly desired if its within the Unreal Engine Ecosystem. This includes analysing designing and developing using a mixture of artistry and creativity with software programming and scripting languages and interfacing with operating environments. Tasks such as complex shader authoring realtime simulations and lighting; and developeroriented tasks such as performance optimization and tool development (CC and Blueprints).

Must have a strong focus on designing developing and integrating codes with other specialised inputs such as image files scripting languages with the aim of producing an output of high quality with high reliability and performance.

Exposure to modern VR platforms is required. The ideal candidate must have the ability agility and willingness to switch tasks should the clients needs change. The candidate must be able to analyse specify and develop strategies methodologies and development plans in our pipeline.

Must enjoy knowledge sharing and communicate with team members regarding issues problems and must be able to provide quick solutions should these issues arise.

Must have a strong interest in working in a medical environment.

The job will be full time with hours to be worked between 9.00 am up to 5:00 pm from Mondays through Fridays in our Sydney Office.

Additionally successful applicants must have:

At least a minimum of 10year relevant previous employment experience

advanced Skills in Houdini and moderate skills in Maya Unreal Engine and other platforms moderate experience in scripting such as: VEX Python C etc.

an individual and team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills strong organisation and attention to detail

Preferably multilingual as we deal with clients of different nationalities.

A candidate with relevant education qualifications is highly desirable.
