Supply Chain Analyst

Microchip USA is seeking a Supply Chain Specialist to join our team! In this role you will help with the supply chain process. This includes tracking orders/shipments resolving shipment stoppages at customs and resolving tariff disputes with shipping providers. You will communicate with the operations team to ensure there is no halt to order fulfillment. Our ideal applicant has a bachelors degree in supply chain management an APICS certification and two years of related experience; they also enjoy being around other team members in an office environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage shipping and receiving throughout the fulfillment process
• Contact shipping carriers to amend tariff export import and claims issues
• Manage organization relationships with vendors and clients
• Acts as a liaison with laboratory and testing partners
• Process shipping changes and manage accurate shipping tracking process
• Manage international shipping needs to include customs and tariff regulations
• Problemsolve and create solutions for shipping and processing issues
• Track and update vendor performance for evaluation
• Create and process documentation as needed

Requirements and Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED certificate required
• Bachelors degree in supply chain management logistics or related field (preferred)
• APICS certification preferred (CPIM or CSCP)
• Supply chain experience (23 years preferred)

• Experience with CRM/SAP software
• Excellent attention to detail and problemsolving skills
• Computer Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel Word Outlook and PowerPoint)
