RecruitNet International is inviting applications for the role of Clinical Nurse Manager to state-of-the-art Nursing Homes across Ireland (Dublin).
A compassionate Clinical Nurse Manager that can ensure the delivery of the highest standards of nursing care while leading a team.
What does this role entail ?
- To ensure the delivery of the highest standards of nursing and social care which meet the individual needs of each resident by ensuring that the home policies and best clinical standards are always practiced.
- Working with different staff members in all areas to ensure that standards are maintained.
- Identify areas that may be of concern and follow up with the Director of Nursing to put action plans put in place.
- Reviewing residents with pressure sores /sustained falls / clinically unwell, through clinical practices and documentation to ensure an appropriate management plan is in place.
- Troubleshoot any ongoing clinical issues and non-clinical issues and escalate them to the Director of Nursing.
- Perform comprehensive assessments of residents and monitor ongoing assessments and modifications.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years post-registration nursing experience.
- Previous managerial training / experience, an advantage.
- Registered on the NMBI live register.
- Excellent Leadership, Organizational and Communication skills.
- Minimum 2 years work experience in a Nursing Home environment.
- Ability to motivate self and others and work on own initiative.
- Ability to work well and promote a team environment.
- Results-driven.
