Core Capabilities Manager-
- At least 7-8years experience
- as experience with BSS, Customer R/S Mgt System, Product cataloguing, bill/charging
- The Manager for Core capabilities within the transformation team is responsible for defining & creating capabilities within the IT/BSS/Network stack. The role is responsible for converting high level business use cases & requirements into realizable capabilities that can be rapidly & accurately deployed within the technical environment. The role is aligned to work very closely with business/product owners within all functions of the Consumer Business Group on one hand and the SH IS/Network team on the other hand.
- The role sits within the Capabilities for Digital, Core & Culture unit of the CBG Transformation team.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & ACTIVITIES
Key Results Area
Functional Accountabilities
- Conceptualize & design capabilities that can be implemented across BSS/Network landscape in a Telco environment for the Consumer LOB
- Create capabilities using Cloud-based technologies including Hyperscaler, Kubernetes, Helm charts, Openstack, VMware, Ansible, Playbooks and Containers
- Provide guidance and assistance from a BSS/Network Technology perspective to all functions within the Consumer LOB to ensure proper alignment with existing stack
- Support institutionalization (adherence to defined goals) of new system capabilities and interfaces to improve alignment with business requirements and use cases
- Assist in creating the right set of capabilities for BSS transformations with clear emphasis on long term goals and strategies
Stakeholder management
- Ensure close alignment with product/business owners to creation of smart capabilities on BSS/Network stack
- Align & partner with IS/Network functions to ensure smooth transitioning of capabilities towards the technical domain
- Closely engage with PMO team within the Transformation function for Program & RFx related activities
Vendor Management
- Actively engage with multiple vendors that are incumbent within the client environment from a transformation perspective
- Manage RFx processes from a capabilities perspective to ensure expected outcome is achieved
- Assist PMO team during the delivery process. Ensure delivery reflects the expected set of results
KPI
The 5 main KPI s are as follows, all of which will have yearly targets within the AOP
- Time to Market for capabilities developed within the existing stack
- Quality of products created
- Stakeholder management
- Standardizations created within the stack to meet business requirements
Qualifications
- End to end understanding & experience in BSS/IT environments specializing in Consumer LOB
- Strong understanding of BSS stack required to meet Digital KPIs
- Hands-on experience in vendor and partner management
- Experience in conducting RFx s or similar processes from inception to completion
- Good understanding & experience of transformational processes such as AGILE, DevOps, CI/CD pipeline etc.
- Job specific technical skills Hands-on knowledge of BSS & Digital Tech Stack
