Litigation Solicitor Property

East London / Essex Border

Due to their reputation in the market they are the "Go To" firm for Civil Litigation cases and landlord and tenant dispute resolutions.

The focus will be related to property disputes but also you can work on commercial litigation cases contract disputes partnership disputes defamation insolvency and debt recovery.

With their reputation of winning difficult cases the firm is in demand and there is an opportunity for an ambitious Litigation Solicitor to develop a great career away from the high pressures of Bigger City Law firms.




Requirements




Requirements

Property Litigation is a key part of this job and this includes:

  • Landlord and Tenant disputes
  • Section 8 and Section 21 eviction notices
  • Provide expert legal counsel and representation to clients involved in disputes arising from residential and commercial lease agreements.
  • This involves a combination of legal analysis negotiation and courtroom representation to safeguard the interests of landlords and tenants.
  • Housing tenancy and longleasehold issues
  • Recovery of debts including outstanding rental income

Offering comprehensive legal advice and resolving conflicts through litigation or alternative dispute resolution mechanisms.

  • Conduct thorough consultations with clients to understand the nature of their landlord and tenant disputes.
  • Provide clear and actionable legal advice on rights responsibilities and potential legal remedies.
  • Possession Claims residential and commercial property
  • Recovery of outstanding service charges
  • Draft and prepare legal documents such as eviction notices lease terminations and court pleadings.
  • Inventory reviews and disputes over the condition of the property
  • Breach of Covenant. Claims for disrepair.
  • Legal / Beneficial Ownership
  • Preparation of paperwork for both County Court and High Court.
  • Clients include corporate occupiers commercial landlords investors and developers and residential clients from the UK and overseas.


Candidate details

23 year PQE solicitor with property litigation background specifically with experience of running a busy caseload of landlord and tenant residential possession matters.

45 days a week in the office. Near central line underground or drive.
