Job Description

Our client a Europebased SaaS Fintech startup ($12M raised) disrupting the payment solutions market is seeking a Solutions Engineer. This is a presales role that requires excellent customerfacing skills and technical knowledge to understand customers needs and ensure smooth implementation. You will work closely with the CS team to drive adoption and usage of our clients products.

Preferred Location and Timezone: London or Amsterdam
Product or service: Embedded Invoicing AR/AP Automation SaaS Integrated payment solutions
Company size: 50
Sales Team Size: 4. Youll be the 1st SE hire

Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with customers to understand their business requirements and design solutions
  • Become a recognized expert in the product offering and develop sector expertise
  • Answer technical implementation questions test out proposed solutions via the API and help customers troubleshoot integrations alongside with CS and Support teams
  • Lead technical demos and conversations user training and workshops for both business and technical stakeholders
  • Own the creation of technical documentation including solution proposals and guides
  • Work with CS Product Sales and Engineering teams to continually improve customers experience
Targets/KPIs for the first 3 months:
  • Meet or exceed monthly/quarterly target # of clients going live
  • Develop a deep understanding of the product
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders
  • Lead some of the presales and implementation processes
  • Build standardization and supporting documentation


Requirements

  • 5 years in a customerfacing role across Technical Account Management Solutions Engineering and/or Project Management is required
  • Tech experience in an APIfirst environment is required
  • Experience in Payments or wider Fintech is strongly preferred
  • Strong verbal/written communication and presentation skills including the ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams
  • Experience capturing and developing client requirements and creating supporting documentation and process flows
  • Excellent stakeholder and project management skills with a focus on translating business requirements into technology solutions
  • Enjoys working in a fastpaced and constantly evolving startup environment
  • Excellent time management and organization skills to manage multiple clients
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent problemsolving skills
  • Selfmotivated to work with and learn about new technologies and business sectors
  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or another relevant field is preferred but not required
