As a freelance 3D designer at Destinus you will translate concepts and technical specifications into highquality 3D models. A combination of artistic creativity and technical skills is required for this role. Working independently and meeting project deadlines is critical to succeeding in this freelance position.
Tasks
- Work with internal teams to understand project requirements and technical specifications.
- Create detailed and accurate 3D models based on provided concepts sketches or technical drawings.
- Utilize industrystandard software (e.g. AutoCAD SolidWorks Blender) to produce highquality 3D designs.
- Ensure that 3D models meet technical standards and requirements focusing on functionality and feasibility.
- Provide input on design improvements and enhancements considering artistic and technical aspects.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including engineers and project managers to ensure alignment with project goals.
- Stay abreast of industry trends tools and technologies related to 3D design and technical advancements.
Requirements
- Fluency in English is a requirement.
- Proven experience as a 3D designer with a strong portfolio demonstrating technical and creative skills.
- Proficiency in 3D modeling software such as AutoCAD SolidWorks Blender etc.
- Technical knowledge of aerospace or related fields is highly desirable.
- Previous experience in engineering is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in translating technical specifications into 3D models.
- Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills to communicate complex technical information to nontechnical stakeholders.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and feedback.
