Job Description – Sales Leader (Australia)
Role Objective: Create strategic growth and revenue for Company’s banking software and service offerings through new client acquisition of Tier 1 and Tier 2 Financial Institutions in the ANZ Market. Scope of Role: The successful candidates will be expected to increase the wallet share of existing clients and acquire new clients. The country / regional focus will be financial institutions in the ANZ market. This is an active business development role with a primary goal of increasing sales revenue through selling high value software technology solutions to FIs. Responsibility: - To be the key driver and contributor of revenue acquisition for Company’s banking solutions in the ANZ market
- Big emphasis will be on building pipeline , driving closures with concrete steps to establish thought leadership in the region for Company- proven global leader in this space
- Drive value selling ,identify pain, create latent demand and develop a buying vision in line with strategy and drivers for the bank and execute new business opportunities
- Engaging at levels CXO’s and Senior stakeholders within financial institutions
- Work closely with Pre-sales, Delivery and Marketing team with an ability to create winning propositions in the market and drive an outcome oriented approach
- Executing new business opportunities - Manage the strategic accounts and identify ongoing up-sell and x-sell opportunities post sale
- Build strategic relationships with the client base to identify new initiatives and generate the pipeline for new business:
- Create region and client–specific business opportunities
- Identify the client needs and feedback to relevant product groups
- Build compelling and winning business cases and proposals in order to create a profitable, long term client partnerships
- Initiate the above plans and manage business generation Deliver on agreed annual revenue/order book/license fee targets as per the Company Business Plan
- Provide market insights & guidance on the market as required
- To have an ability to keep track of important trends within region in the Banking/FS space
Ideal Candidate : - Around 15+ years of experience selling enterprise software to banks
- Sound credentials with evidence of pipeline and revenue growth in the Banking Space
- Ability to drive strategic conversations across key connects in business, operations and technology within banks in the region.
- Should have an excellent communication skills with strong influencing capabilities and ability to get inputs that can have transformational impact on winning deals
- A background in consulting and currently in Banking
