Job Description
Okta Engineer
The Okta Engineer is responsible for supporting our Okta identity and access management system and will work closely with other IT staff to ensure that Okta is effectively integrated with our existing infrastructure and applications.
Responsibilities
- Support Okta infrastructure and applications;
- Conduct security assessments and identify and remediate security vulnerabilities;
- Troubleshoot Okta issues and provide support to users;
- Stay uptodate on the latest Okta features and security best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems or a related field 3 years of experience with Okta;
- Experience with other IAM technologies such as Active Directory and LDAP;
- Strong understanding of cloud computing technologies such as Azure;
- Strong understanding of networking;
- Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills;
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Additional Skills and Experience
- Experience with scripting languages such as Perl Python Perl PowerShell;
- Experience with cloud security best practices;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
