Litigation Associate

Career Consulting Partners has formed a partnership with a thriving law firm representing both individual and privatepublic entities.The firms representation is substantially on behalf of public entities businesses insurance companies and their insureds and selfinsured organizations. Ourfirm is seeking a litigation attorneywho is interested in pursuing matters involvingdefending school districts municipalities and corporate clients.

We recognize that this is a highly specialized area of law. We welcome applications from attorneys with a background in civil litigation and prior experience working in a defense capacity. We are looking for attorneys who are passionate about handling these types of cases.This position will be out of our Downtown Los Angeles office. If you are interested in a hybrid schedule we are open to a conversation to discuss what that would look like.

Primary duties/responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Able towork on a team in assisting the firms employment and wideranging personal injury defense practices
• Able to personally manage every aspect of assigned cases
• Prelitigation through discovery and depositions dispositive motions and trial preparation.

Qualifications:

• 26 years of litigation experience
• Familiarity with the California Government Code Education Code and lawrelated technology skills is a plus but not preferred
  
• J.D. from an ABAapproved Law School
• California State Bar License in good standing
• Exceptional research writing and critical thinking abilities
• Must be open to working on sexual harassment cases

• Base Compensation: $120000 $170000
