A rural insurance company in Wherstead, Ipswich is an expanding local business and an opportunity has arisen to join our team as an Agency/Office Manager.
As a key member of the leadership team at the agency you will provide effective support to the agents through the management and development of the team. You will contribute to the continued delivery of first class customer service and compliant day to day operations.
You will be involved in the preparation of the agency business plan for continued growth and the day to day execution of the plan to deliver the agreed goals. We are looking for an experienced leader who is highly organised, self-motivated and enthusiastic. Whilst previous insurance experience would be an advantage a strong background in leadership is essential.
You will be responsible for the smooth day to day running of our dynamic Agency, to ensure the consistent delivery of excellent customer service and to meet our ambitious growth plans.
Additional key responsibilities will include:
Co-ordinate sales, administrative and customer service activity, getting involved in special campaigns and projects along the way.
Lead, manage, motivate and develop direct reports so that team members are able to maximise their contribution to business objectives and realise their potential.
Manage and report on important business information as required.

Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum of Grade C in GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent).
Proven experience of managing a team is essential.
Strong I.T. literacy, being proficient in the use of MS Office Applications including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
A background in insurance or financial services would be advantageous but not essential.
