Asphalt Plant Operator experience required. Operators are responsible for safe operation and maintenance of asphalt plant and construction equipment by determining the proper material mix needed to produce asphalt adjusting and regulating the flow of materials ensuring the plant is operational at the proper temperature and replenishing dump trucks with hot mix. The successful candidate will also work closely with the Quality Control Department to ensure regulations are met; assist Plant Foreman with stockpile management / inventory of materials; operate loaders when necessary; and maintain a customer focused attitude and engage with customers to provide them with industry leading service and attention to detail.
Requirements
- Asphalt industry / Asphalt Plant Operations related experience is a must.
- Handle multiple tasks concurrently and perform under pressure while remaining composed.
- Strictly adhere to safety requirements policies and procedures as outlined in the employee manual.
- Willingness to work additional hours (Overtime nights weekends) as needed.
- Work in a team environment and assist coworkers or supervisors / managers with other duties as required.
- Provide toptier service to customers.
- Knowledge of construction or heavy civil building material products
- Thorough and detail oriented
- Ability to multitask with excellent organizational and planning skills
- Willing to work additional hours as needed.
- Must possess excellent communication skills.
