About the position:

This key position requires a dedicated individual who will assume responsibility for the role. They will have an opportunity to contribute towards successfully implementing the One ITAB strategy which will focus and guide the business through a period of exciting development.

Job Description this role will include but not be limited to:

The Project Manager reporting into the Senior Project Manager acts as the daytoday link between the Sales Support team and the customer working in partnership to maximise project completion in compliance with customer expectations company objectives and contractual terms. Responsible for the control and coordination of all aspects of a project and construction activities to ensure all assigned projects are completed to the clients satisfaction to ensure customer satisfaction and achievement of planned profitability.

Acting as a key support role the Project Manager ensures that all assigned project activity is planned and resourced to deliver the customers requirements both on cost and on time this includes highlighting and mitigation of risk cost control and accurate and timely feedback and communication.

Working in partnership with Relationship Sales team this role will ensure that all activity is visible and reported accurately into Salesforce and working collaboratively to drive new opportunities and efficient delivery. The project manager will require general business knowledge to plan organize and control resources procedures and timing for an administrative or business process including Organizing project teams assigning individual responsibilities developing project schedules and determining resource requirements monitoring and reporting on the status of projects including cost timing and staffing ensuring adherence to internal and external quality standards.

  • Compliance with local H&S requirement for example Construction Design Management Regulations
  • Attend and lead customer meetings and communication reporting back to the Senior Project Manager and Relationship Sales team on all activity on the project.
  • Lead internal meetings with the Relationship Sales team Sales Support team to deliver to customer expectations.
  • Creation of project documentation plans scope of works as requested by the customer and principal designer and other contractors.
  • Coordinate with site managers and attend sites regularly to monitor performance track the project lifecycle and maximise customer satisfaction.
  • Working with the implementation team with regards to contractor management and support as required with training
  • Managing customer programme and providing regular updates
  • Working with Sales Support and Operational teams to ensure all required material are available for successful project delivery.
  • Facilitate the effective flow of information to and from site in the form of written reports in line with the procedural mandates.
  • Management of all project risks issues assumptions and dependencies including updating status report on Salesforce
  • Delivering efficiency savings and site improvements management of customer and implementation teams to reduce cost.
  • Provide excellent customer service to encourage an increase of allocated stores.
  • Manage change request and variations including correct written authorisation.
  • Support the Sales Support team with project account and invoicing schedules.
  • Identify and maximise revenue generating opportunities for the duration of the project.
  • Support capacity planning schedule adherence team development and cost reduction targets and plans.
  • Attend site engagement prestart meetings site surveys and post implementation review meetings.
  • Generate and report information to ensure legal and Health and Safety compliance.
  • Act as Implementation escalation and decision making.

Education &Experience

  • Good numeracy and analytical skills.
  • IT literate with a good working knowledge of Word and Excel Outlook.
  • Experience in CAD layout (desirable)
  • Excellent verbal written presentation and communication skills.
  • Willingness to be flexible with working hours to respond to the needs of the business.
  • Professional image with a Full clean driving license
  • Previous retail and construction experience (ideally 2 years )
  • Previous project management experience (ideally 2 years )
  • Site project management experience essential
  • Site installation and supervision experience
  • Experience of running a large continuous programme
  • Experience and / or qualified in onsite health and safety and construction methods.
  • Qualified / trained to produce risk and method statements.
