Job Description
GlobalEngineer is an innovative company in several engineering areas that is active in mechanical and plant engineering development of new systems and their technologies as well as testing and type testing. To strengthen our team we are immediately looking for an interested and motivated CEO for our branch company in Croatia / Zagreb.
Tasks
- Leading the local team of 5 (actual) mechanical design engineers
- Management of the company completely independently full profit and loss responsibility
- Search and hire highly qualified mechanical engineers MSc level. Expansion of the number of employees necessary
- Supporting the team in the management function but in daily business as a engineer as well
- Inraction with customers in Germany Switzerland and other countries preferable in german at least english (fluent is a must)
- Structural detailing of assemblies and individual parts including associated drawings and parts lists
- New further development and optimization of existing concepts
- Creation of relevant development documentation
- Project coordination and presentation of development results
- Qualification and implementation of new manufacturing processes and materials in collaboration with production
- Coordination with external specialist departments and suppliers
Requirements
- Track record as a team leader in a comparable environment
- Successfully completed studies in the fields of mechanical engineering (BSc / MSc)
- Mechanical design experience (min 5 years) especially for rotating machinery gas sector renewable energy industrial machinery etc.
- Confident in using 3D CAD systems (e.g. AutoCad Creo CATIA V5 Siemens NX and similar) as well as Mathcad for design calculations
- Very good knowledge of technical mechanics
- Quick comprehension analytical thinking and independent working style
- High level of quality awareness reliability and initiative
- Strong communication skills and assertiveness. Very good knowledge of English (level B1/B2) spoken and written (German is a big plus)
