Senior Web Developer

We are seeking a skilled developer with experience in both WordPress and JavaScript particularly the MERN stack and Next.js. As a member of our team you will be responsible for designing developing and maintaining WordPress websites and plugins as well as designing and implementing enterprise solutions with the MERN stack using Next.js.

Job Responsibilities

• Design develop and deploy WordPress websites and plugins.
  

• Design develop and deploy MERN stack applications using Next.js.
  

• Collaborate with other developers and stakeholders to define business requirements and design solutions.
  

• Develop and maintain technical documentation for websites plugins and applications.
  

• Refactor and optimize existing code for scalability and maintainability.
  

• Participate in agile development activities and communicate with other teams as necessary.
  

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in PHP and experience with WordPress development.
  

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and experience with MERN stack development and Next.js.
  

• Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
  

• Solid understanding of software design patterns and principles.
  

• Experience with RESTful web services and API development.
  

• Knowledge of common security threats and best practices for web application security.
  

• Experience with frontend development using HTML CSS and JavaScript is a plus.
  

• Experience with project build tools like Webpack /Gulp and Maven/Gradle.
  

• Experience with job queues and writing test code is a plus.
  

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  

Experience

• At least 10 years of experience in WordPress development.
  

• At least 10 years of experience in software development preferably with MERN stack and Next.js.
