EMEA Network Engineer - excellent new hybrid perm role

Job Purpose

We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to join our team and play a key role in designing implementing and managing our network infrastructure.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of networking technologies excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
As a Senior Network Engineer you will be responsible for maintaining the reliability security and performance of our network while also providing guidance and mentorship to other team members.

Primary Responsibilities

• Data Centre and Branch office firewalls
• Data centre and Branch LAN and WAN infrastructure
• WiFi networks
• Remote Access tools
• Web Security
• Network security

Key Accountabilities

• Follow ITIL process for Incident Problem Change Risk management.
• Contribute to Continuous operational improvement.
• Contribute to technical objectives and roadmaps.
• Configuration and maintenance of all technologies in stack
• Accountable for all technical decisions in the network
• Ensure continuity of service to the business
• Analyse design implement and document new and existing technologies.
• Implement complex technical tasks.
• Proactive monitoring and troubleshooting of problems and outages.
• Meet technical and project objectives.
• Maintain software and hardware Asset management.
• Vendor management

Skills
The ideal candidate will have recent experience in a similar role following ITIL process and managing large and complex networks
