About the role as people coordinator at Aira

We are at an exciting period in our growth and are looking for someone who is willing to roll their sleeves up and get involved in all areas of People and Culture as well as support in the wider business. Youll need to be proactive positive and adaptableand not afraid to suggest ways in which we can improve out processes.

Ideally you will have experience of working in administration roles with the ability to work independently to manage your own time and workload.

You will need to have a keen eye for detail as well as being a great communicator. Experience of working as part of a People and Culture team would be advantageous as would any previous experience using HR systems and basic payroll knowledge.

Our office is in Kings Cross London. The role is hybrid but you will need to be in the office 3 days a week.

What you will be doing as people coordinator at Aira

  • Acting as first point of contact for all our team members and supporting our managers in all areas of People and Culture.
  • Providing support for general day to day People activities including ad hoc requests producing reports managing the people inbox and responding to queries.
  • Production of Service Operations employment contracts for all our regions as well as proactively managing any changes of contract or amendments to ensure accurate employment records.
  • Responsible for working with updating and maintaining the HRIS.
  • Partnering with the external payroll provider to smoothly run the monthly paycycle.
  • Managing the administration of all our benefits including the pension scheme.
  • Ensuring that correct paperwork is completed maintained and GDPR compliant for every member of team from the moment they join us.
  • Regularly checking every file to ensure it is complete and up to date including things such as right to work documentation and contract end dates.
  • Manage screening process for new starters via our external provider.
  • Support with office management duties including support with any engagement and social activities.
  • Continuously looking at ways we can improve People admin processes.
  • Promoting cultural values day to day by role modelling behaviours and ensuring we are offering the best support and service for our internal team members.
