Job Description
- 6-Month NSW Government Contract
- $850-$900 per day + Super
- WFH (Parramatta Office once weekly)
Our client is a large NSW Government organisation who are seeking business process focused Senior Business Analyst (not technical) to join their team.
The Senior Business Analyst engaged with stakeholders, facilitates design and investigation sessions, analysis of existing and future state environments. Details requirements and dependencies. Analyses, documents and reports on the environment being investigated, identified processes, target and final state. Assists with design and review. Participates in project management activities. The role contributes to a high performing team and acts to ensure project management excellence and continuous project improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with business stakeholders to elicit business requirements for technology projects, initiatives and operational service delivery via workshops, meetings and other means as required.
- Capture and document business requirements and translate these into functional and non-functional requirements.
- Organise, facilitate, present and manage medium to large size workshops.
- Map existing as is business processes and work with the business to define the to be desired state.
- Work with technical resources to interpret and translate business requirements into viable business solutions that meet the business needs.
- Participate in the development of test strategies, test plans and test cases and undertake testing activities.
Selection Criteria:
- End-to-end business analysis experience (business focused not technical)
- Experience with SAP Finance is essential
- Extensive experience in planning, preparing and conducting workshops / meetings with stakeholders / participants for business requirements gathering, process mapping, etc
