Activities CoOrdinator duties includes:
Choosing planning and carrying out activities and events for residents.
Making these activities a safe and enjoyable experience.
Training and guiding other activities workers.
Creating monthly activity calendars.
Participating in orientation meetings and regularly scheduled resident care plan conferences.
Developing therapeutic programs.
Assessing peoples social and physical needs.
Updating records.
Implement a program of social recreational and intellectual activities in accordance with the company s Monthly Activity calendar current federal and state regulations established standards and company polies and procedures.
Acts as a cheerleader to promote participation.
Escorts residents to/from activities as necessary.
Maintains supplies in a neat and orderly manner and to ensure their durability.
