Greetings for the day . .


We are trying to source Sr. Business Architect for our direct client for a Long term Hybrid position in Albany NY. We need an Architect who will develop an in depth understanding of each stakeholder agency s futurestate vision for the enhanced HR systems and develop strategies to bridge the gap between this vision and the delivered systems. The ideal candidate is well versed in business analysis organizational and process redesign systems analysis PeopleSoft and/or other HR applications.


It will be a Long Term Hybrid Project at Albany NY Hybrid at least 50% onsite


Job Duties:

The Business Architect will:

Document the strategic goals for each of the key stakeholder agencies as they relate to Program scope

Document the business functions of the key stakeholder agencies as they relate to the Program scope and distinguish between key operational areas (e.g. customerfacing backoffice operations business management functions executive oversight)

Document the HR data shared across individual stakeholder agency operations and across the HR enterprise and the relationship between the data

Document the relationship among roles capabilities business units stakeholder agencies across the State HR enterprise

Participate in finalizing the HR Systems business requirements to develop a firm understanding of needs

Participate in finalizing the HR systems functional and technical requirements

Work with ITS staff and the stakeholder agencies to document legacy system and futurestate process flows as needed

Develop business strategies to maximize the use of PeopleSoft capabilities to meet the strategic goals of the HR Systems Modernization Program and individual stakeholder agencies

Develop business strategies to meet stakeholder agency goals not met by technology

Participate in the development of project workstream and sprint planning to sequence the delivery of system enhancements and new functionality to business owners

Develop artifacts required to support Software Development Lifecycle standards

Develop analyses and other products to support Program governance and project management efforts


Deliverables

Business architecture artifacts (e.g. business cases business capabilities and value stream mapping etc.) developed to industry and State standards

Reports and presentations on technical analyses and recommendations

Reports and presentations on Prototype and Proof of Concept exercises
