Job Description
Technical Expertise and Solution Provision
Possess indepth knowledge of energy storage products systems and their applications. Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and develop tailored solutions that address their needs. Conduct technical presentations and demonstrations to showcase product features and benefits to potential clients.
Sales Support and Client Engagement
Assist the sales team in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities providing technical guidance during the sales process. Engage with customers to understand their technical inquiries providing presales and postsales support. Build and maintain strong client relationships as a technical liaison throughout the customer journey.
Solution Customization and Development
Work closely with the engineering and product development teams to customise solutions based on client specifications. Provide feedback from customer interactions to contribute to the enhancement of existing products or the development of new offerings.
Technical Documentation and Communication
Prepare technical proposals and documentation required for sales processes. Communicate technical information effectively to technical and nontechnical stakeholders ensuring clarity and understanding.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Engineering (Electrical or related field) or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in a technical sales role preferably within the energy field
- Strong technical understanding of energy storage systems renewable energy technologies and power systems (beneficial).
- Experience engaging with engineering consultancy to provide confidence in products and solutions.
- Excellent communication presentation and interpersonal skills in English and Afrikaans (required)
- Ability to comprehend and convey complex technical information to diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in CRM software Microsoft Office Suite and technical software tools
- Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities with a customercentric approach.
- Experience required in the full cycle of Projects Initiation Design Planning; Execution and Closing Phase
Bachelors degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related field) or equivalent experience.
