Our client a wellestablished regional firm are seeking an experienced Senior Associate Solicitor to join their Catastrophic Injury department in a principal position. The hiring firm is recognised for having a positive longterm impact upon its people clients partners and the wider community.
Requirements
- Provide specialised legal advice to meet client needs.
- Manage an ongoing caseload of multitrack and catastrophic personal injury claims.
- Contribute to a team handling complex and intellectually demanding work meeting strict deadlines under pressure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate within a team to support clients with lifechanging injuries.
- Manage client expectations negotiating with defendant insurers/solicitors and professionals to achieve client objectives.
- Draft relevant documentation including pleadings applications witness statements schedules of medical records instructions to counsel and instructions to experts.
- Guide and develop a paralegal/serious injury assistant providing case support.
- Adhere to departmental Best Practice Policy.
- Meet agreed targets.
- Ensure efficient administration billing and cost recovery.
- Support maintain and develop business relationships engaging in key relationship management.
- Proactively comply with Solicitor s Regulations Authority and/or CILEX professional conduct rules and standards/ISO/firm s procedures.
- Assist in implementing the departmental business plan and the firm s business plan.
