About the Job

Wayfair is seeking a Visual Operations Associate to join our team which is part of the broader Visual Merchandising department helping to enable Wayfairs physical retail agenda. The Visual Operations Associate will contribute to all aspects of the end to end Go To Market process supporting our Wayfair physical retail operations. This role includes many of the traditional aspects of project management including interacting with cross functional stakeholders juggling tight timelines and coordinating with field employees on execution. The Visual Operations Associate will be an integral part of the Visual team that is helping to develop and implement the playbook to stand up and scale stores in North America across all five of Wayfairs brands (Wayfair AllModern Joss & Main Birch Lane Perigold).

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in retail project management or store operations. Their responsibilities will include process improvement projectbased work and calendar management for our GTM milestones and New Store Opening timelines. A strong operational orientation is key to success in this role as is a keen eye for efficiency and a passion for process improvement.

This role is based in Boston MA and reports to the Manager of Visual Operations with exposure to many other crossfunctional teams.

What Youll Do:

Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including Visual Presentation and Store Operations
• Prioritize and complete multiple projects within competing deadlines with high level of organizational skills
• Assist the Manager of Visual Operations with daytoday tasks including scheduling calendar management agenda maintenance onboarding vendors vendor payment and Google Drive organization.
• Maintain and update communications to store teams accurately and adjust as needed.
• Partner with Visual Presentation and Store Operations to decide on VAS best practices
• Adhere to timelines and deadlines for VAS requests for seasonal products
• Support New Store Openings and Seasonal Flips
• Execute on ad hoc Visual Operations projects think through solutions to existing problems and identify areas for process improvements

Who are we looking for

We are looking for individuals who are newly graduated and have had part or fulltime experience at the instore level of retail. We are also looking for individuals who have worked in environments such as:

• Retail Big Box or Specialty
• Project Management
• Office Administration

This individual should be looking to get their foot in the door at a retail corporate level or be looking to grow in their career. Communication is key and you should be comfortable working in a fastpaced technology and datadriven business environment.

Who you are

• 12 years of physical retail experience preferred
• Proficiency in Google Suite
• Strong attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously
• Able to work efficiently and effectively within a dynamic fastpaced environment thats constantly changing as Wayfairs Physical Retail organization and fleet scales
• Evidence of scrappy startup execution and a get it done attitude when time is tight and stakes are high
• Ability to problem solve and pivot to the needs of the growing business
• Excellent written visual and verbal crossfunctional communication skills
• A positive attitude and a willingness to learn
