Job Description
- Perform functional automated and regression testing from low level test environments through release to Production including User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Authoring detailed test cases that provide high coverage and enforce traceability back to the user story.
- Isolate replicate and report defects then verify fixes within JIRA. Ensure all corrective actions are assigned documented and completed.
- Work closely with project and product managers to ensure design adherence.
- Implement appropriate scripts and execute test plans in alignment with the stipulated test strategies and approaches.
- Document findings and perform root cause analyses.
- Recommend solutions and improvements to existing standards and procedures.
- Analyze requirements and processes for all applications ensuring test plans cases and scripts meet strict quality standards.
- Gather maintain and report quality metrics and their deltas over time.
- Participate in all phases of the SDLC while working within an Agile environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3 years of Quality/Automation Engineering experience.
- Working knowledge in UI automation (Selenium) and API automation (Rest assured).
- Working knowledge in automated testing frameworks such as Manual Testing API testing Web application and Mobile testing Performance test is preferred.
- Experience in Performance testing using JMeter will be an added advantage.
- Retail Industry experience preferred.
- Java Python or other OOPs conceptbased programming knowledge is preferred.
- Experience with API testing tools like Postman or similar.
- Experience with SQL NoSQL and/or Document databases.
- Experience with Mongo DB preferred.
- Familiarity with JIRA or equivalent bug tracking software.
- Experience with Confluence document management system.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
- Strong work ethic positive attitude and a desire to be challenged and learn new skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
