CT Technologist

Responsibilities:

• Perform CT and Xray imaging procedures following established protocols and physician orders.
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment ensuring optimal image quality and patient safety.
• Position patients for imaging procedures ensuring proper alignment and comfort.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to obtain relevant patient history and ensure accurate image interpretation.
• Administer contrast media for CT scans as needed following safety protocols and guidelines.
• Monitor patients during imaging procedures responding promptly to any adverse reactions or complications.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records including documentation of imaging procedures and patient history.
• Collaborate with the radiology team to ensure efficient workflow and patient care.

Qualifications:

• Current and valid Radiologic Technologist license in the state of practice.
• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification is required.
• Minimum of Specify years years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist with expertise in CT and Xray imaging.
• CT certification is a plus.
• BLS certification required.
• Strong technical skills in operating CT and Xray equipment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a teamoriented environment.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays.
