Pastry Intern

As a Pastry intern you will assist in daily operations and work with customers and Guests as part of your assigned College/University project to demonstrate your abilities and gain knowledge in the hospitality industry.

Internships are an excellent way for you to gain relevant work experience and new skills that will be invaluable when you are ready to pursue your professional career upon graduating. • Ensuring consistent great food production, in line with the high-quality standards • Perform tasks within a timely manner • Provide support to the Culinary & Pastry team • Keep all working areas clean and tidy • Prepare mis-en-place for relevant items • Prepare and present high quality pastries within company guidelines • Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships • Report maintenance, hygiene and hazard issues • Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety and food safety legislation • Show awareness to the departmental targets and strive to achieve them as part of the team • Meet all health and hygiene requirements
