Prsentation du besoin client

The new engineer will work within the Surface Well Testing team based in client in the Paris region France. Specifically they will be part of the Production Express Center of Expertise (PECE) team.

The purpose of this team is to supportsites worldwide in designing production facilities that achieve production targets in terms of product specifications using temporary equipment as commonly used for surface well testing.

Production Express facilities operate as surface well testing facilities (considering them as temporary installations) with the distinction that oil and/or gas is produced to commercial specifications for delivery to the customer for sale.

This involves operating equipment that is not typically considered in temporary surface well testing installations such as:

• Stabilizing and processing oil to achieve low Reid Vapor Pressure (RVP) and/or low H2S content.
• Gas processing to achieve water/hydrocarbon dew point or to remove contaminants like H2S or mercury.
• Water treatment prior to disposal with stricter thresholds for contaminant levels.
• Minimizing gas flaring.
• Converting gas into electricity.

Material balances/flow diagrams. Definition of design bases. Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID). Functional specification. Cause and effect diagrams. Safety in design:

• Knowledge of API standards etc.) is absolutely necessary.
• Safety reviews (HAZOP HAZID LOPA etc.).
