Job Description
Seeking a Mechanical Engineering for a leading manufacturing company serving the aerospace medical and industrial industry.
The ideal candidate has 35 years mechanical engineering practical application experience. Experience with common machine design elements required. You are a teamplayer with excellent communication skills.
What you will do:
This position is responsible for reviewing customer requirements initiating customer discussion and completing detailed engineering/manufacturing drawings.
- Provide technical support to customers for questions and design suggestions.
- Provide inhouse support with detailed engineering drawings and collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure feasibility of the production process.
- Manage projects from design concept through manufacturing completion.
- Provide analysis of gears and gear assemblies.
- Communicate effectively with the engineering group as well as other team members.
- Troubleshoot production difficulties.
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience with common machine design elements: gears pulleys belts bearings gear assemblies material selection etc.
- ERP software knowledge of SolidWorks.
- Strong knowledge of gears mechanical design tolerancing and analysis.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
