The Supplier Quality Assurance (SQA) Specialist is responsible for managing suppliers across different commodities providing support to production lines for internal and external claims related to acquired components. They lead key activities such as QNs/DMNs and warnings evaluate 8D reports and corrective actions for quality notifications to suppliers. Responsibilities also include driving supplier improvements in quality systems and performance using clear and effective databased measurements and statistical methods conducting supplier site visits/audits to assess quality management systems processes and technical capabilities when necessary and reviewing PPAP submissions to verify compliance with technical and quality requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field
- 3 years of experience in supplier quality assurance or related field
- Strong knowledge of quality systems and statistical methods
- Experience with supplier management
- Ability to analyze and improve supplier performance
- Ability to conduct supplier site visits and audits
- Familiarity with PPAP requirements
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
