Financial Controller

For this UK Finance Manager position you will support the General Manager by providing a highquality financial service to the various departments within the company. To input data and manipulate data within the computerised systems ensuring all finance deadlines are adhered to.

Some of the key responsibilities for this successful person would be but no limited to:

Providing financial support to the 3 Group businesses (OEL OTS & TPS).

Providing financial support investigating and advising on highly complex and sensitive financial issues.

To manage the relationships with external service providers e.g. bank auditors finance company.

To prepare financial reports for Management/Board including Profit & Loss.

Ensures statutory accounts and returns are accurate and meet agreed timescales and legal requirements interpreting these where necessary.

VAT Returns.

Year End File.

Requirements

The successful UK Financial Controller will be/have:

A minimum of 18 months experience working in a finance background is essential.

A minimum of 18 months experience working in a manufacturing company is essential.

Skilled in the use of Microsoft Applications for Excel spreadsheets and word processing.

Planning and organisational of ongoing tasks is required around strict weekly monthly and annual financial deadlines to meet financial reporting requirements.

Desirable to have experience of Invoice Finance.

If you have any experience working with imports and exports this would be a distinct advantage.

Good communication skills are essential.

This role will be based in the office five days a week spread across 20 hours a week.
