You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe ICT Support Officer will work as an extension of the Provisioning and Support Team, supporting the administration of matters relating to the management and support of IT equipment and services within the IT Infrastructure Section. The role is responsible for undertaking work that is moderately complex in nature, under general direction, utilising functional expertise within the area of ICT support.
Job Responsibilities:
Analyzing business requests and identifying solutions to meet business requirements using sound judgment.
Installing, configuring, testing, and troubleshooting IT hardware and software.
Resolving issues related to usability, customization, and connectivity.
Receiving, checking, and processing purchase requests and verifying incoming and outgoing goods against records.
Creating and maintaining records with a strict degree of accuracy.
Building and maintaining effective stakeholder relationships, including representing the work area at internal and external meetings and conferences.
Communicating effectively and professionally.
Contributing to doctrine, election preparation, and delivery activities in accordance with the election readiness framework, according to individual accountabilities and responsibilities.
Performing additional duties or assuming responsibility for functions as directed from time to time.
The Digital Technology Branch delivers a range of ICT services to the agency including infrastructure, application development and communications. ICT services are delivered through a select sourcing model, with a mixture of in-house and outsourced resources.
The Digital Technology Branch is committed to building the agency s information technology capability by providing resilient, modern, and secure systems informed by data and insights, and to upskill teams to develop innovative new products and services.
