Job Description

On behalf of one of its clients working in the F&B sector the French Chamber of commerce is looking for a Channel manager.



Our client is looking for a resultsdriven Channel Manager to oversee and expand the companys distribution channels within the fine food industry in Singapore. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the local market a proven track record in sales and experience in managing relationships with distributors retailers and key stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

Channel Development: Identify develop and maintain relationships with distributors retailers and other relevant partners within the fine food sector to expand market reach and penetration.

Sales Strategy: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets taking into account market trends competitor analysis and product positioning.

Account Management: Manage and nurture relationships with key accounts ensuring their needs are met and providing support to maximize sales opportunities.

Market Analysis: Conduct regular market analysis to identify opportunities for growth understand consumer preferences and make datadriven recommendations.

Collaboration: Collaborate crossfunctionally with marketing operations and product development teams to align strategies and ensure cohesive execution.

Training and Support: Provide training and support to partners on product knowledge promotions and marketing initiatives to drive sales growth.

Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze sales performance market trends and competitor activities to optimize strategies and identify areas for improvement.


Requirements

Bachelors degree in Business Administration Marketing or related field.

Proven experience (5 years) in channel management preferably in the fine food industry or related sectors.

Strong network and relationships within the Singaporean fine food market.

Excellent communication negotiation and presentation skills.

Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales performance data.

Resultsoriented with a focus on meeting and exceeding sales targets.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced environment.


Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and/or Finance, or other relevant professional certification Proven experience as a Financial Controller or in a similar senior finance role, preferably within a holding company or multi-entity structure involving consolidation In-depth knowledge of financial consolidation principles and management reporting Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial analysis, budgeting and financial reporting standards (IFRS and SFRS). Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Fluent in English and French in order to liaise with group companies based in Europe Ethical conduct, integrity, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality Ability to work independently with a sense of initiative, self-starter, autonomous navigation in a new / unstructured environment
