Job Description

Francophone OTC Trader/Relationship Manager (FinTech/Cryptocurrency)


Our client is an American-based company that is expanding globally by being one of the first movers to bring cryptocurrency to Africa and the Middle East at large. Their mission is to make cryptocurrency/blockchain and other FinTech services more accessible, and affordable, than ever before. Our client s vision strives to form a committed team of forward-thinkers who collectively create a supportive, welcoming and highly innovative environment for all.

Requirements


  • 3 years experience working in B2B technology or financial services relationship management

  • Fluency in French and English required

  • Proven experience as a Client Relationship Manager

  • Proven experience as an OTC Trader

  • Experience with trading in other parts of Africa - not just the developed world, the institutional world

  • Have to have an entrepreneurial mind

  • Knowledge of the Crypto Industry required

  • Knowledge of the Blockchain space required

  • Experience in FinTech required

  • Able to communicate cross-functionally with Accounting, Customer Support, Compliance and other departments.

  • A proactive results-driven person

  • Able to work independently and execute tasks with intuition, based on broad instructions/objectives from superiors

  • Able to help with day-to-day operations for the manager

  • Time management and organisational skills to manage a variety of tasks and meet deadlines

  • The ability to multitask and prioritise your workload

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills

  • An ability to work under pressure, particularly when dealing with threats and at times of high demand.


Responsibilities


  • Manage and grow revenue with previously established relationships with institutional clients

  • Execute trades in close collaboration with others

  • Keeping track of client feedback and recommending product improvements

  • Ensure accurate and timely record keeping processes are followed

  • Adhere to all risk management policies and processes including financial exposure limits and compliance requirements

  • Maintain the image and vision of the organisation by providing excellent customer service

  • Achieve the revenue goals of the company

  • Display a positive attitude focusing on customer satisfaction
